Bodanna is a New York City based nonprofit organization dedicated to helping inner city youth gain the necessary tools for successful adulthood. Using the pottery enterprise as a real-life classroom, youth develop creativity, discipline and a strong work ethic while handcrafting ceramics and operating all aspects of the business, from product design and development, production, sales and marketing to shipping. 100% of the proceeds of every sale support Bodanna's mission of empowering youth through enterprise.

In 1999, we established a now-thriving and well-equipped ceramics center in Manhattan’s East Village where we run all the components of our social purpose business: the apprenticeship program, 6-week internship and ceramic gallery.
